The iPhone is one of the lines of multimedia-enabled and Internet smart phones that are marketed and designed by Apple Inc., and released in 2007. One of the iPhone's functions is the camera which makes it a camera  and a phone. While it serves as a camera and a phone it also contains the same features of all phones like text messaging, portable media player, visual voice mail.

Also, the iPhone is an Internet client device that can send and receive e-mail, surf the web and also access the local Wi-Fi hotspot zones.

The graphical user interface was built around the phones multi-touch screen that includes a "virtual" input/ keyboard that serves as a replacement to the physical one. 3rd party apps or applications are also available from Apple's App Store which just launched in the middle of 2008 and it has now sold over 200,000 apps that were also approved by Apple. These apps as a matter of fact have different functions. The games, GPS navigation, references, advertising and social networking for TV shows, celebrities and films all are not related to each other in such a way that it makes it interesting to explore it inside the iPhone.
