Receiving emails thru iPhone means relieving you from the hassle of going to Yahoo or Google or other email account just to write/read new emails. Once you have setup your iPhone it will automatically push new emails. You will know it because if shows a number of email received in your iPhone email icon.
Below are the steps of setting up your emails:
1. In the home screen look for the settings icon and tap it.
2. Under Settings, scroll down and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then under Mail, Contact & Calendars submenu select Add account.
3. After you select the Add account, you will see list of email accounts like Gmail, AOL, Yahoo Mail and others.
4. Tap on item on the list, for example Gmail. Type in the name, address (email address like

), your Gmail password and description. Then tap the save button.
5. After you have done the above steps, you should now be able to get/receive and send emails. Go back to home screen and tap the mail icon.
